Top three regions, shown in the at-a-glance summary.
This report compares your DNA with reference populations from around the world today. You get your top regions, a world map, three confidence views of the same result, and clear guidance on what the numbers do and do not mean.
Each item below is a real part of the report.
Switch between Speculative (lowest threshold, many populations), Intermediate and Conservative (highest threshold, fewer and more confident results).
Your top three regions with their percentages and continents, plus a few quick insights, so you see the headline before the detail.
Your result drawn on a map so you can see where the regions in your result sit. Shading is a visual guide, not a border or a claim about where your family lived.
A card for the regions in your result, describing the region and the reference populations behind your percentage.
Short explanations of genetic similarity, how to use the three views, why values above about 5% deserve more attention, and why neighbouring populations often look alike.
A historical timeline for context, technical details on the method, and answers to common questions, plus a shareable and printable summary card.
An AI assistant can explain your result in conversational language. Its answers are informational, not proof of ancestry and not medical advice. It needs the separate AI Assistant licence.
A mock-up of a summary and region card, so you know what to expect before you buy. The numbers are invented.

Top three regions, shown in the at-a-glance summary.
The 27% shown here would indicate how similar your DNA is to reference populations from this region. It is a similarity estimate, not a statement about where your relatives lived.
The real card adds a description of the region and the reference populations behind the percentage.
The same regions drawn on a map, as a visual guide.
The same data at lower, middle and higher confidence thresholds.
Each view applies a different confidence threshold. Start with Conservative, then widen the view to explore.
Pick a sample already in your account, or upload a supported raw DNA file from a major testing company.
Your DNA is compared with present-day reference populations and summarised at three confidence levels.
You get an email when it is ready. Your report stays in your account for lifetime access.
Three confidence views, one clear map, and the limits stated up front.
A genetic-similarity estimate against reference populations, not proof of ancestry.

What the report shows, how to read it, and how your data is handled.
It shows how genetically similar your DNA is to reference populations from around the world today. You get a world map, three confidence views of the same result, a summary of your top three regions and a card for the regions in your result.
Speculative uses the lowest confidence threshold and may list many populations, including distant or uncertain ones. Intermediate sits in the middle. Conservative uses the highest threshold and shows fewer, more confident results. Older results may also include a legacy Version 2.1 view.
A percentage describes statistical similarity between your DNA and a reference population. It is not an exact share of ancestry from that group, and small values are tentative.
No. The report measures genetic similarity to present-day reference populations. It does not prove descent from a named group, and it does not assign ethnicity, nationality or identity.
This report compares your DNA with present-day reference populations. The Historical Population Origins report looks at populations from the past. Many customers read the two side by side.
Tools use different reference populations, methods and thresholds, and human populations overlap. Some variation between tools is expected and does not mean a result is wrong.
DNA Genics accepts supported raw DNA files from major testing companies, including 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA and Living DNA, and supported whole genome sequencing formats.
Processing depends on your file and the current queue. You receive an email notification when your report is ready.
Your report is private by default, and your account provides controls for managing and deleting stored data.
An optional AI Assistant can explain your result in conversational language. It is sold separately, its answers are informational, and it is not proof of ancestry.
The purchase gives you ongoing access to the report in your account without a subscription. Results may be recalculated if the reference data or report method is updated.
DNA Genics has been building ancestry and DNA analysis reports since 2018. Our reports come from years of work with our own reference panels, calculators and ancient-genome comparisons, developed and reviewed by our team. They are not generated on the fly or assembled as a side project. We use AI only in clearly labelled optional features.
