How It Works
Important Information
Nebula mtDNA
mtDNA from Nebula CRAM files has conversion limitations. RAW file predictions may be inaccurate, but FASTA/BAM files and haplogroup predictions remain reliable.
INDEL Limitations
INDELs (insertions and deletions) are not accurately converted to RAW format. SNPs representing INDELs may be incorrect.
Whole Exome
Whole Exome files have lower coverage than WGS, resulting in fewer SNPs. Some third-party sites may not accept the output.
FTDNA BigY
BigY files produce Y-DNA haplogroup prediction and VCF with detected SNPs. Limited to Y chromosome data only.
