Abstract
Summary of the research findings
The Iron Age in Western Europe was marked by the emergence of the Celtic cultural complex, whose material remains are mainly known through archaeological discoveries. In France, this period witnessed the development of the Gaulish groups, whose genetic ancestry remains poorly documented. Here, we present genome-wide data from 49 individuals from 11 French archaeological sites dated between the 8th and 1st centuries BCE.
